Responsibilities: Requirement analysis, specification, high and low-level software design work Definition of software components and architecture according to requirements Control software implementation, verification, troubleshooting and maintenance Test software and control at several development states using Mil, SiL, Hil Develop, perform and document test methods and tests for control software. Take ownership of software and hardware integration in the product, including the processes and procedures necessary for consistent success and continuous improvement, to ensure adequate quality Full V-model software lifecycle Manage subcontractors and suppliers Good communicator at a detailed technical level, but also in order to present overall results to upper management Been an effective team player, open and cooperative, in a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary environment Requirements:  MSc (Engineering) or equivalent Experience in automation & controls, and embedded software engineering, especially valuable when acquired with internal combustion engines Experience in developing embedded real-time applications, in distributed architecture Experience of software design and implementation using MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow, Simulink Test Experience in Linux OS Use of Git, Atlassian Jira/Confluence environment is an advantage Open mindend and flexible English, fluent German, good Our offer: An opportunity to shape the sustainability and environmental impact of the shipping industry.
