Business Manager / Recruitment Consultant - IT Headhunter

Your Role:

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the creation and evolution of a centralized Data Hub for a major private banking migration project. This hub will consolidate data from various systems to support client reporting, fiscal reporting, regulatory compliance, and business intelligence needs. You will work closely with a team of data analysts, BI specialists, and IT professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business and IT teams to understand and define requirements for the Data Hub.
• Design, build, and maintain the Data Hub infrastructure using modern tools such as Azure Synapse and py Spark.
• Aggregate, consolidate, and structure data to create a centralized repository for reporting and analytics.
• Develop and deliver client, fiscal, and regulatory reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Assist BI Analysts in building business-focused reports for decision-making.
• Participate in the integration of T24 into the Data Hub, ensuring seamless data migration and system interoperability.
• Explain and document data processes and workflows to facilitate understanding across the team.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members on technical and business-related aspects of data management.
• Ensure the scalability, maintainability, and future readiness of the Data Hub, transitioning from project mode to ongoing operational support.

What We’re Looking For:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on private banking or financial institutions.
• Expertise in modern data tools, particularly Python, py Spark, and Azure Synapse (experience with equivalent tools will also be considered).
• Strong understanding of private banking processes, corporate actions, and operational workflows.
• Ability to bridge the gap between IT and business, demonstrating a deep understanding of banking operations.
• Experience building centralized data solutions, including data aggregation, consolidation, and report generation.
• A track record of delivering complex data projects within cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to modern tools and technologies.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of French is a plus.
• You will join an existing team of 7-8 professionals dedicated to the Data Hub and analytics.
