Celeroton Turbo Cell is a Swiss based fast-growing technology leader developing and manufacturing high-speed turbo compressors and drive systems using gas bearings for fuel cell applications. The company is based in Volketswil and sells its products worldwide for a broad range of applications including automotive, stationary, marine and aerospace industry.
To support our ongoing growth, we are looking to strengthen our R&D team.

Your tasks:

Mechanical and thermal design of high-speed turbo-compressor systems

Design by analytical and numerical means including FE tools
CAD Design including technical drawings

Testing, commissioning and characterization of prototype systems
Industrialization of prototypes and transfer to series production
Collaboration with internal interfaces (e.g. product management, production, quality), suppliers and customers within an interdisciplinary project team

Our requirements:

Bachelor, Master or Ph D in mechanical engineering (ETH/FH/TU) or comparable
Education and/or professional experience in the development of mechanical systems (ideally rotating machinery)
Application knowledge in 3 D CAD (e.g. Autodesk Inventor)
Experience with analytical and numerical tools (e.g. Matlab, ANSYS)
Knowledge of thermodynamics, rotor dynamics and/or electrical machines is an advantage
Solution-oriented personality with a healthy dose of pragmatism
Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
