Your Role
To participate in the preparation of the consolidated financial statements of the Company, in compliance with US GAAP and IFRS. The Company is submitted to a dual set of financial reporting, with US GAAP as the primary reporting framework and IFRS mandatory for statutory purposes.
To participate in the preparation of the annual and quarterly consolidated financial information required to be filed with the U. S. Securities and Exchange Commission (Form 20-F on an annual basis, 6-K on a quarterly basis).
To prepare the annual and semi-annual consolidated financial information required to be filed in compliance with IFRS.
To prepare financial reporting documentation for submission to the validation of the Audit Committee (at least on a quarterly basis).
To assist in ensuring that the Company’s financial statements and related disclosures are prepared in an environment that is fully compliant with Section 404 of Sarbanes-Oxley.
To interface with, and provide requested information and documentation to, the Company’s External and Internal auditors.
To assist other members of the Finance organization in the preparation of internal reporting information (e.g., budget and forecast data).
To assist in the preparation and issuance of corporate financial guidance, policies, and procedures, in compliance with US GAAP and IFRS.
To actively participate in the elaboration of a Corporate Manual of Accounting.
To support legal entities, divisions, and central functions in the accounting assessment of certain transactions.
Your Skills & Experiences
University degree in accounting or equivalent (e.g., Certified Public Accountant; Chartered Financial Analyst).
5-7 years of experience in a consolidation / financial reporting role or in audit services (Big 4).
Strong interest in expanding technical expertise in a dual US GAAP/IFRS reporting environment.
Fluent in English and French (Italian is a plus).
Willingness to search, analyze and interpret technical accounting literature and procedures.
Excellent writing skills for technical accounting memos to management validation and audit review.
Proficient with Office and SAP.
