In this role you will be responsible for managing procurement activities related to company carve-outs and divestments, focusing on indirect categories such as technology, logistics, professional services, and MRO. You will support planning, execution, and vendor management to ensure smooth transitions and cost efficiencies. Collaboration across departments and risk mitigation are also key components of your work. Start Date: 02/06/2025 Duration: 12 Months Key Responsibilities Leading procurement efforts during carve-out projects, including due diligence, planning, and execution to facilitate seamless system and service integration. Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring performance and compliance. Conducting strategic sourcing activities to evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability, while staying informed about industry trends. Managing contract creation, negotiation, and ongoing administration in accordance with company policies and legal standards. Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within indirect procurement categories and implementing related strategies. Assessing and mitigating risks associated with suppliers, contracts, and compliance in the procurement process. Collaborating with internal teams such as IT, Quality, Finance, Legal, and others to align procurement activities with organizational and project goals. Developing procurement performance metrics, analyzing data, and providing insights to support decision-making. Contributing to the development and enforcement of procurement policies, procedures, and best practices. Candidate Profile Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, IT, or related field; a Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are a plus.7-10 years of experience in indirect procurement, with at least 3-5 years dedicated to carve-outs or divestment projects. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract and vendor management, and experience managing divestment activities. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency with procurement tools, ERP systems, and MS Office applications. Strategic mindset, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
