As a Frontend Engineer, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create exceptional user experiences that power our insurance platforms from end to end.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and review
code that meets our high standards for quality and maintainability
Debug
Type Script, CSS, and HTML exceptions and profile performance issues
Integrate
REST APIs in a secure and typesafe way
Shape architecture
by contributing to key decisions and documentation that guide our technical direction
Stay current
with emerging technologies and Generative AI developments to continuously improve our development efficiency
Collaborate
closely with user experience experts, product owners, and requirements engineers
Build
end-to-end user engagement platforms spanning the entire insurance value chain

Qualifications
Proficiency in software development across the entire software delivery lifecycle
Strong knowledge of Angular, HTML, and CSS
Experience building and packaging modules with Webpack and Node JS
Comfort working with large and established codebases in an IDE environment
Understanding of frontend architecture and best practices
Nice to Have
Knowledge of state management solutions (Ng Rx, Rx JS)
Familiarity with UI/UX design principles
Experience with automated testing frameworks for Angular
Background in insurance or financial services technology
Knowledge of accessibility standards and implementation
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 2,700 and EUR 4,500 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance-based variable compensation component, designed to recognise your achievements. Further you will enjoy a variety of global and location specific benefits.
