AN EXCITING CHANCE TO JOIN THE W VERBIER TEAM
As Assistant Welcome Director, you will be number 2 in the Welcome department. You will report directly to the Welcome Director.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the operational aspects of the Welcome Office such as welcoming guests, check-in and check-out, and assisting guests to ensure an incredible experience. You will develop, implement and continually review policies, procedures, practices and standards, and ensure that they are consistently applied.
- Preparing daily pre-arrival schedules and customised stays.
- Managing room inventory to maximize room revenue.
- Implementing and developing the objectives of the Welcome Office and Whatever/Whenever team, in line with the hotel's objectives.
- Training, developing, coaching and managing the performance of the Talents who report directly to you.
- Coordinating activities with other hotel departments to facilitate communication and customer satisfaction.
- Maintaining high visibility for operational fluidity, promoting good relations with the public, taking corrective action, and following up on customer queries and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Being informed of all emergency procedures, hotel promotions, upcoming products and events. You will brief the Talents on these subjects, so that all the Welcome Desk and Whatever/Whenever Talents are able to inform customers correctly.
- Guaranteeing the W standards to which we adhere, and achieving the best scores. You achieve and maintain good Guest Voice scores, and take the necessary action.
- Ensuring that new Talents are properly integrated into the department, in particular by putting in place appropriate schedules, checklists and training matrixes. You will be responsible for training existing Talents in Brand Standards and other policies and procedures.
PROFILE
- Significant Front Office management experience in the luxury hotel sector
- An interest in fashion trends
- Fluent English and French (written, read and spoken)
- Advanced IT skills (Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and Opera PMS)
- Outgoing, able to interact with particularly demanding customers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Integrated, adaptable, flexible and results-oriented
- Strong team spirit

- Real interest in the worlds of taste, sound, body, scene and stance
