The Opportunity
In our EY Parthenon (EY‑P) practice, we help clients look beyond and position themselves to fulfill their growth objectives through corporate strategy, capital allocation and M&A transactions. We navigate complexity to reimagine ecosystems, reshape portfolios, stabilize businesses, manage downturn scenarios, and reinvent for a better future. Our Strategy & Execution team delivers services across corporate and growth strategy, M&A integrations, separations, transformations, private‑equity value creation, operational/HR/IT due diligence and operational restructuring, working across the entire transaction lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Work as a Senior Consultant on M&A and strategy projects focused on technology, including IT due diligence, value creation and strategy initiatives. Typical scope includes IT operating model design, IT integration and separation blueprints, defining and agreeing IT TSAs, and designing IT day‑1 and day‑100 plans.
Expose to a variety of industries (life sciences, manufacturing, consumer products) and work with corporate and private‑equity clients across Europe.
Assess technical information and financials, provide recommendations, and draft transformation and execution plans.
Implement and execute client recommendations collaboratively with project teams to fulfill project goals.
Assist in business origination and people initiatives such as recruiting.
Maintain professional relationships with clients at appropriate levels. Skills And Attributes For Success
Completed business or STEM degree.
At least one year of full‑time professional experience post‑university, ideally within the IT M&A deal lifecycle.
Strong leadership record, sharp analytical thinking, and exceptional problem‑solving skills.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills in English; additional fluency in German, French, and/or Italian is preferred.
Solid project‑management skills, client‑oriented attitude, and willingness to travel to client sites.
Readiness to learn and develop new skills.
