International Freight Forwarder (m/f/d) - Zurich

CEVA Logistics, a leading global supply chain solutions provider present in over 170 countries with more than 110,000 employees, is seeking an

International Freight Forwarder

for our Zurich branch, to start as soon as possible.
Your Role:

Coordinate the implementation of new ocean freight lanes from Belgium, ensuring smooth operational setup and customer satisfaction.
Draft, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) tailored to specific customer and lane requirements.
Manage first-level escalations and deviations, resolving issues efficiently and professionally.
Serve as the primary contact for customers during implementation, providing updates and proactive solutions.
Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and contract managers, to ensure alignment on goals and deliverables.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for process improvement.
Support day-to-day operational tasks to ensure seamless execution.
Qualifications:

Proficiency in English (both written and spoken); knowledge of Flemish is a plus.
Experience in ocean freight logistics, preferably within a 3 PL environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure.
Experience in drafting and managing SOPs.
Willingness to engage in hands-on operational work.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to supporting colleagues and achieving shared goals.
