Splunk is experiencing a period of rapid growth, and we aim to expand our presence in the German-speaking region of Switzerland. We are currently seeking a results-driven and highly motivated Regional Sales Manager to join our team in Switzerland, based in Zürich. The successful candidate will have a proven and measurable track record in building a strong pipeline and maximizing software sales within large and global enterprise customers. We are looking for candidates with a solid network of key contacts and decision-makers, including C-Level executives, within leading Swiss manufacturing companies and established relationships with Swiss service providers. Please note that this role is an individual contributor position.
Responsibilities:
- Consistently achieve license, support, and service revenue targets with a commitment to numbers and deadlines, including accurate forecasting.
- Strategic territory planning based on named accounts, opportunity management, and continuous pipeline generation and business development.
- Negotiate favorable pricing and business terms by selling on value and ROI.
- Engage and leverage Sales Engineering, Business Value Advisors, and Professional Services resources.
- Leverage our partner ecosystem of resellers, managed service providers, and GSI’s.
- Utilize and adhere to our sales methodology and processes effectively, including SFDC and MEDDPICC.
- Be a good corporate citizen, a team player, with a proactive attitude, ensuring a two-way flow of relevant and timely information, and work collaboratively for efficient resource deployment.
