Job Description:
Commercial Tender Executive

– Hub Europe
As Commercial Tender Executive, you will be the overall tender leader for high risk and large tenders with the main focus on the expanding renewable segment and offshore wind projects as well as general complex opportunities in AC Business. The focused tenders of high complexity are typically characterized by:
large volume tenders or large frame agreements
high risk opportunities
high degree of non-standard terms and conditions
Extensive, non-standard tender documentation deliverables
complex delivery model with many teams and units involved and/or international and export projects
Draw up competitive proposals for system solutions including cost calculation and supplier quotations based on a suitable product mix and taking into account both technical and commercial aspects.
Manages the sales support and administrative procedures within the sales process including tender and risk review, strategic definition of the scope of delivery, definition of suitable terms and conditions.
Ensure tenders are well documented and presented in a timely manner, provide technical support for Sales Managers during meetings.
Oversees the preparation of proposals through internal and external resources, assigns and allocates resources for technical support and proposal preparation.
Supports growth opportunities with existing and new customers.
Identify potential vendors for requisite equipment and materials, cross-check offers with specifications, and assist supply management in coordinating requests to subcontractors.
Background and Profile:
Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar, ideally with a focus on power engineering
Minimum of 5+ years of project execution Know How as Lead/System engineer and 5+ years of Tendering/Bid& Proposal Know How in the field of substation automation, control and protection in an international role.
Proven track record from working either with electrical utility, system integrator, or technical consultant in the field of substation automation, control and protection.
Competent in using MS office and MS Visio.
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Willingness to travel as part of business assignments (up to 10%)
Flexibility and interest in working within an international team
