PAM Engineer / IT Security Specialist

Overview of contract
On behalf of our client, a large bank in Switzerland, we are looking for a PAM Engineer / IT Security Specialist.
Duration:

12 months – with extension/ internalization
Key Responsibilities:
Set up Proof of Concept (Po C) environments to test and evaluate shortlisted PAM products.
Create comprehensive documentation on Confluence.
Prepare for the migration from the current Password Source system to the new PAM solution.
Develop automation scripts to streamline daily business tasks.
Deploy, configure, and secure Windows and Linux servers in both on-premise and cloud environments.
Implement secure middleware solutions (e.g., IIS, Rabbit MQ, Kafka, Redis) with a focus on security, scalability, and performance tuning.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
Deploy and manage secrets management solutions such as

Hashi Corp Vault ,

Azure Key Vault , and

AWS Secrets Manager.
Develop automated failover and backup strategies using Infrastructure as Code (Ia C).
Optimize server, middleware, and vault performance for efficiency and scalability.
Required Experience and Skills:
5+ years of experience in IT Security, infrastructure automation, and PAM tools.
Strong experience with

Privileged Access Management (PAM)

tools like

Beyond Trust (Privileged Identity and Password Source)

and

Hashi Corp.
Proficiency in deploying and securing

Windows

and

Linux.
Hands-on experience with middleware technologies like

IIS ,

Rabbit MQ ,

Kafka , and

Redis.
Ability to work collaboratively with testers, developers, and other stakeholders.
Fluent in English, German is a big plus.
