Role Overview As the Production and Sourcing Director, you will oversee the entire production lifecycle, ensuring the highest standards of craftsmanship, efficiency, and sustainability in sourcing and manufacturing. You will drive strategic partnerships, maintain impeccable quality control, and optimize cost-efficiency while upholding the brand’s luxury positioning. Key Responsibilities Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Relations Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with premium suppliers and manufacturers globally. Develop and implement sourcing strategies that enhance product quality while controlling costs. Ensure ethical sourcing practices and sustainability compliance in supply chain operations. Production Management & Quality Control Oversee the end-to-end production process, ensuring timely delivery and excellence in execution. Implement best-in-class quality assurance standards in line with luxury fashion expectations. Collaborate with design and development teams to translate creative vision into flawless execution. Supply Chain Optimization & Cost Management Optimize production schedules, inventory management, and logistics to improve efficiency. Monitor raw material costs and negotiate favorable pricing without compromising on quality. Drive innovations in materials and techniques to differentiate the brand in the luxury market. Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration Lead a team of production managers, sourcing specialists, and quality control experts. Work closely with the design, merchandising, and retail teams to ensure alignment in product delivery. Partner with finance to maintain budget adherence and profit optimization. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 10+ years of experience in production, sourcing, or supply chain management within luxury fashion. Proven track record of working with high-end materials and elite manufacturers. Strong global supplier network and negotiation expertise. Deep understanding of sustainability, ethical sourcing, and compliance standards. Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Preferred Skills Experience in handling couture, bespoke, or premium fashion production processes. Ability to leverage technology and AI-driven sourcing models to optimize efficiency. Fluency in multiple languages (preferred for international supplier management).
