Mission

As part of the Client Documentation and Tax Services Department, the Tax Specialist ensures the quality and accuracy of clients’ tax statements produced by our external provider.

Main Responsibilities

• Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the Fiscal Reporting team for the Front Office and other departments.
• Handle all queries addressed to the Fiscal Reporting main email, either directly or by forwarding to relevant teams.
• Manage calls to the Fiscal Reporting hotline, ensuring timely responses and follow-up on unresolved queries.
• Provide accurate feedback on errors, late documents, and respond promptly to queries related to duties.
• Control fiscal reports for various countries (Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Russia, France, Spain, Belgium, Austria).
• Follow up on issues raised with Bank departments and external providers, ensuring timely resolution.
• Manage and prepare tax reclaim forms for countries including Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Denmark, France, Spain, Finland, Belgium, Austria.
• Perform regular and ad-hoc statistical reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Serve as a business partner, providing expertise and support to other departments (Front Office, Compliance, Legal) especially on complex issues, new regulations, or projects.
• Participate in relevant projects.
• Report issues appropriately to Management based on risk assessment.
