Based at the Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich within the Culinary Department in Zurich, the Demi Chef de Partie - Fine Dining is responsible for state-of-the-art culinary experiences. The Demi Chef de Partie - Fine Dining reports to the Orsini Head Chef and Orsini Sous Chef.
JBRP1_CH THE ROLE
As Demi Chef de Partie - Fine Dining, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and timely delivery of all dishes in line with recipes, plating guides, and Head Chef/Sous Chef instructions, meeting guest expectations and dietary needs.
Monitor ingredient quality, manage stock efficiently, and use proper cooking methods, equipment, and recipes to maintain standards.
Uphold hygiene and food safety standards in line with HACCP, MOHG policies, Swiss regulations, and Safe & Sound guidelines, maintaining kitchen cleanliness at all times.
Foster effective communication and teamwork, share knowledge, and participate in training, meetings, and briefings to improve culinary skills and service quality.
Support administrative tasks, maintain compliance with SOPs, MOHG pillars, and grooming standards, and ensure rules and regulations are communicated to the team.
Demonstrate strong culinary skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and professionalism while performing any duties assigned by the Head Chef/Sous Chef. YOUR TASKS

As Demi Chef de Partie - Fine Dining, we expect from you:
A completed apprenticeship as a chef. 2-3 years of professional experience in a similar role, preferably in upscale hospitality/gastronomy
Flexibility and resilience - your position includes weekend and holiday shifts
An eye for detail and creativity - to incorporate your culinary signature
Excellent communication skills, teamwork, and organizational abilities
Strong leadership skills to manage your own station
High commitment, with a structured, results-oriented, and independent working style
A strong sense of quality
